🚀 Latest AI updates made simple #5
Welcome back! This edition highlights model advancements, new tools, and features that help you build smarter and scale efficiently. 📈

🤖 OpenAI
What's new: OpenAI's reasoning models achieved a perfect 12/12 score at the 2025 ICPC(International Collegiate Programming Contest) World Finals, solving all problems under the same conditions as human teams.
This included using GPT-5 for most problems and an experimental model for the toughest one.
What is important is this shows AI can now outperform top students in programming contests. This means that you have access to an advanced and arguably the best coding assistance at your fingertips!

👁️ Mistral AI
What's new: Mistral AI released Magistral Small 1.2 and Medium 1.2, adding vision capabilities, 15 percent better math/coding performance, improved tool use, and natural responses.
Mistral AI can now look at pictures and read text at the same time (vision encoder), all in one go. Unlike other AIs that need extra tools to handle images, this one does it naturally, making apps faster to build and better at explaining what’s in a picture.

🏆 ElevenLabs
What's new: ElevenLabs opened submissions for Chroma Awards, the largest AI film, music, and gaming competition with over $175,000 in prizes.
