💰 Google AI
What's new: Google has significantly cut the price of its Gemini API for the Veo video-creation models. They've reduced the cost by about 50 percent, which means you can now use their AI to generate high-quality videos for a lot less money. This makes it much cheaper to experiment with video in your apps or on your website.
Why it matters: Cheaper tools mean you can test out new ideas without risking a lot of money. The most important thing for a startup is to try things quickly and see what works. Use this price drop to build a simple video-generating tool for your social media marketing today!
🤖 Replit
What's new: Replit has released Agent 3, a new and improved AI assistant for coding. This version is smarter and can now test your apps on its own. It clicks buttons, fills out forms, and finds errors to fix them automatically. This helps developers build and launch new software much more quickly.
Why it matters: Spending less time on manual testing lets you get your products to market faster, and here's the thing: reliable code builds trust with your first users. Give Agent 3 a try to help you deploy a basic web app without bugs.
AI agents can prototype apps… But shipping real software takes hours of testing, debugging, and refactoring.
Agent 3 is 10× more autonomous — it keeps going where others get stuck.
The “Full Self-Driving” moment of software.

🎨 Midjourney
What's new: Midjourney has made it much easier to find and use different artistic styles for your images. They’ve added a search function to their Style Explorer and organized it so you can quickly find a look you like. The feeds showing the most popular images are now also updated in real-time.
Why it matters: Great visuals are essential for attracting attention to your brand. For a founder, this means you can create better marketing materials or product images faster than ever. Use the new search feature to find a unique style for your next social media campaign.
A few quick updates! We increased the number of styles in the Style Explorer by 7x (including search). The Style hot/top feeds are fixed and now continually update & evolve. And we've made it so when you look at 'Likes' you can filter them to be only images, videos or styles.

🔒 Anthropic
What's new: Anthropic is working with the U.S. and U.K. governments to test its AI models, like Claude Opus 4, for safety issues before they're widely available. This partnership helps them find and fix vulnerabilities, making their AI systems more secure and less likely to be misused.
Why it matters: Having stronger safety measures in place protects your business from potential risks and shows that you're building responsibly. Most people don't realize that these kinds of partnerships are what makes AI safer for everyone. Take a moment to review how your business uses AI and think about its ethical and security implications.
Our collaboration with the US Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) and UK AI Security Institute (AISI) shows the importance of public-private partnerships in developing secure AI models.
